Chipton-Ross is seeking 1 F-22 Repair & Modification Technicians for a contract opportunity at Nellis AFB, NV.
*This position is 100 % ONSITE.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
o Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul.
o Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
o Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
o Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components.
o Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results).
o Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
o Oversees training. Works under general direction.
HARD REQUIREMENTS:
If hired, successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment. Regular and predictable attendance is required.
REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
o Experience with aircraft maintenance
o Close tolerance Drilling
DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
o Experience on military fighter platforms (F-16, F-18, F-22, F-5, F-14, or F-15)
o Modification Experience
EDUCATION:
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).
FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
TRAVEL: YES
Possible travel to Edwards AFB.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
