Chipton-Ross is seeking a Data Engineer for a remote contract opportunity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ability to design, write and test software related to messaging systems with a background in message translations. Experience in Agile CI/CD software development deployments. Experience in containerizing packages and deploying to Kubernetes with HELM charts. The software developer will be responsible for development from architecture system design into working software products.

REQUIREMENTS:
The submitted candidate must have 6 years of work experience in each of the following skills:
i. Full stack development
ii. K8 (Kubernetes)
iii. Python
iv. JAVA
v. Tactical Message Translation
vi. Pub/Sub (AMQ and Kafka)
vii. Model Based Development
viii. Agile (JIRA)
ix. CI/CD deployment
x. HELM Charts
xi. Container Image Creation and Sustainment
xii. Familiarity with Database technology

HARD REQUIREMENTS:
C++, and/or Java as well as Python experience required.
EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or GED.

SHIFT:
Full-Time 4/10

MISCELLANEOUS:
