Chipton-Ross is seeking a System Test Engineer for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.
This position is 100% onsite.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The role includes elements of requirements, design, analysis, integration, test, reviews, and field testing. Candidate needs to be a self-starter and have the capability of determining one's own tasking based on input from program.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- 4+ years of direct RF/datalink experience required
- At least 4 years of prior experience working with military data links/RF/tactical software-defined radios on a fielded military platform.
- 4-6 years of Electronic Testing related to data links experience is required.
- 4-6 years of Mechanical Testing experience related to military hardware is required.
- Demonstrated experience managing subcontractors on technical development projects, ideally data links.
- Travel to supplier, production, and/or test locations will be required on an as needed basis.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
-The ideal candidate should have demonstrated experience to manage external suppliers with a focus on requirements verification, technical performance, and schedule.
- Requirements creation and verification, data link ICD familiarity
- DOORS proficiency
- Demonstrated awareness of test equipment function, calibration, security requirements and permissions required to radiate
- Candidate will be responsible for communicating status and issues as well as recommendations to program.
- Excellent verbal, presentation, and written skills to all management/junior levels is desired.
- Demonstrated experience presenting at program/design reviews, technical reviews, and safety reviews is desired.
EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's Degree
WORK HOURS:
Full-Time 4/10 work schedule 1st shift
MISCELLANEOUS:
