Chipton-Ross is seeking an Aircraft Painter for a contract opportunity in Greenville, SC.
This position is 100% onsite.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Must be willing to work Plastic Media Blasting.
Painting, paint prep activities, and all aspects of aircraft painting.
Must be able to wear a respirator.
Must have at least 2-4 years of related work experience.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coats surfaces of aircraft with paint, lacquer, epoxy, resin or other material, using brushes, rollers, spray guns and other devices, removes old paint from aircraft, using liquid paint remover and scraper. Smoothes surface with sandpaper and steel wool, roughens aluminum surfaces with acid solution and steel wool to ensure that paint adheres to surface, masks and covers portions of surfaces not to be painted, and paint insignia, letters or numerals on aircraft surface, using stencils. Will be working RAM coating, and various other paint shop tasks! Must have Aircraft Paint experience, will accept Automotive/aircraft paint experience
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED.

Full-Time/First Shift
4/10 work schedule
Thursday-SundayEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
