Chipton-Ross is seeking a Components Engineer for a hybrid contract opportunity in Westford, MA.

This position is 100% onsite.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
o Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Component Engineering or obsolescence management or related field.
o Experience with PTC windchill for BOM (Bill of Material) development and management.
o Experience with Parts Standardization application and technology insertion within the design process.
o Experience with creation of Part control Drawings (SCD, VID).
o Knowledge of component selection, screening, qualification, and derating for use in military, and aerospace flight applications.
o Good verbal and written communication skills.

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
o Knowledge of circuit card and EEE Parts Material manufacturing processes.
o Function as an experienced component technologist, responsible for the life cycle of electronic components.
o Ability to multi-task, handle shifting priorities and timeline pressure to meet project deadlines.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The engineer will be responsible for ensuring the electrical components in the modules meet the highest reliability requirements as well as the product life cycle requirements.

EDUCATION:
Accredited Degree in Electrical Engineering or degree in Electrical Engineering Technology.

1st Shift
