Chipton-Ross is seeking an Avionic Technician for a contract opportunity in Greenville, SC.

This position is 100% onsite.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Flightline Avionics Experience.
Avionics troubleshooting experience.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Troubleshooting pre-flight and post flight issues, unscheduled maintenance. Launch and Recovery of F-16 Aircraft, flight inspections, and post Modification troubleshooting. Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Fighter experience preferred but not required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift
4/10 work schedule
You must have the ability to work first or second shift.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
