Chipton-Ross is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer for a contract opening in Palmdale, CA. Position is fully onsite.

oFunctional test experience (i.e. creating and maintaining System Check Out Procedures for vehicle systems, and providing technical test support or overseeing the development and maintenance of vehicle functional test software used to test systems)
oExperience developing manufacturing test plans (i.e. identifying manufacturing test equipment requirements etc.)
oProduct Lifecycle Manager (PLM) experience ( e.g. 3DX, Teamcenter, PDM, etc.)
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Manufacturing Test Engineer (MTE)
Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment. Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices. Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed. Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements. Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area.
oFunctional test experience (i.e. creating and maintaining System Check Out Procedures for vehicle systems, and providing technical test support or overseeing the development and maintenance of vehicle functional test software used to test systems)
oExperience developing manufacturing test plans (i.e. identifying manufacturing test equipment requirements etc.)
oProduct Lifecycle Manager (PLM) experience ( e.g. 3DX, Teamcenter, PDM, etc.)
oSecret Clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years - required to apply
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Pre-power, power on vehicle experience.
Automated circuit testing.
Vehicle software loading experience.
Experience with Inter-departmental communication, both written and verbal, are required as this position requires extensive interface with peers, customers, associate contractors, management, and touch labor across varied disciplines on a daily basis.
General computer architecture and/or communications bus architecture knowledge .
Previous experience with engineering releases and configuration change control .
Flight Line Experience
LabView experience.
Experience with MS Office
Good Communication Skills
Software Programming Experience

Manager is looking for a varying breadth Aviation Test Experience.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited HS Diploma with 20 years of experience
WORK HOURS:
Full-Time 4/10 work schedule
Potential for overtime or weekend work
MISCELLANEOUS:

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
