Chipton-Ross is seeking a Data Engineer for a remote contract opportunity.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
C++, and/or Java as well as Python experience required.
The submitted candidate must have 6 years of work experience in each of the following skills:
i. Full stack development.
ii. K8 (Kubernetes).
iii. Python.
iv. JAVA.
v. Tactical Message Translation.
vi. Pub/Sub (AMQ and Kafka).
vii. Model Based Development.
viii. Agile (JIRA).
ix. CI/CD deployment.
x. HELM Charts.
xi. Container Image Creation and Sustainment.
xii. Familiarity with Database technology.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ability to design, write and test software related to messaging systems with a background in message translations. Experience in Agile CI/CD software development deployments. Experience in containerizing packages and deploying to Kubernetes with HELM charts. The software developer will be responsible for development from architecture system design into working software products.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's Degree.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time 4/10

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
