Chipton-Ross is seeking an NC Programmer III for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.
This position is 100% onsite.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Candidate MUST have completed Zeiss Advanced Zeiss Classes/Training (NOT other company training) using Calypso Software.
o Must have 5 years' experience in a Machine Shop.
o At least 1 year of experience with developing CMM processes including designing fixtures, determining probes, and programming the machines.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Develops and reviews quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured parts.
o Develops CMM process including designing fixtures, determining probes, and programming the machines.
o Leads and / or participates on Material Review Boards, Failure Review Boards and other technical investigations.
o Identifies root cause of complex issues and ensures effective corrective / preventive action to improve processes.
o Develops and implements new inspection processes and automation methods.
o Utilizes lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement.
o Makes the final decision on acceptability of product.

Accredited HSD/GED
WORK HOURS:
Full-Time 4/10 work schedule 1st Shift
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
