- Chipton-Ross is seeking an OCM Lead for a remote contract opportunity.
The scope of this engagement includes providing full-time Organizational Change Management (OCM) leadership and support for the client's enterprise-wide workforce planning initiative as part of the 1LMX program. The focus will be on strategy development, execution, and adoption activities to ensure successful implementation of the Workforce Planning Center of Excellence (COE). This effort encompasses driving adoption of common tools and processes across all business areas and supporting stakeholders throughout the transformation.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Demonstrated success deploying change management tools and methodologies to improve the success of change initiatives
o Demonstrated success managing large programs with clear organization and communication protocols
o Exceptional communication skills both oral and written, and demonstrated success in producing companywide communications
o Ability to collaborate and partner across a complex set of stakeholders with a positive outlook
o Ability to build a strong business case and "burning platform" and communicating to all key stakeholders to build urgency and engagement
o Effectively and consistently navigate ambiguous project environments; organize work efforts and deliverables with attention toward quality and accuracy
o Ability to influence, motivate and coach diverse teams to enable work adaptation and drive lasting change
o Proven ability to work under pressure
o Ability to cultivate an OCM driven project plan to guide implementation, inclusive of new ways of working and change management, across multi-discipline teams/programs
o Demonstrated executive-level presence, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface and influence (without authority) directly with all levels of management
o Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous and changing settings
o Experience with MS Office & MS Teams products
o Experience with Organizational Change Management principles and methods
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Developing and executing an enterprise-level OCM strategy that integrates with current and planned efforts across all business areas.
o Conducting change impact and stakeholder analyses to tailor engagement and communications.
o Managing role mapping, survey creation, deployment, and analysis to ensure stakeholder alignment.
o Designing and delivering tailored training programs informed by stakeholder feedback and survey results.
o Crafting unified communications to address existing myths and misinformation, ensuring consistent messaging.
o Preparing executive-level presentations and communication materials to secure alignment and support.
o Preparing & executing a themed go-live aligned with May the 4th.
o Facilitating team meetings and ensuring alignment across business areas, including Space and other divisions.
o Incorporating agile methodologies into OCM practices to adapt to evolving needs.
o Providing hyper care support to the Enterprise Workforce Planning & Intelligence team to ensure a seamless transition from OCM lead/execution to long-term sustainment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Experience and/or strong interest in workforce planning process, data, & technology
o Knowledge and experience in organizational change management using ADKAR methods and practices
o PROSCI certification
o Hands-on experience with Change Management activities (change impact analysis, stakeholder analysis, role mapping, survey construction and deployment, analysis of survey results and incorporating feedback into methodology and alignment through training development/delivery)
o Experience with stakeholder engagement, communication crafting, course/material creation and instruction design (instructor-led or web-based training, quick reference guides, etc), meeting facilitation, and executive briefing.
o Experience with Captivate, Enable Now, and other digital adoption platforms
o Exceptional stakeholder management, collaboration, and negotiation skills, at all levels in an organization
o Passion to proactively approach difficult problems and leverage excellent facilitation and presentation skills to communicate clearly and bring people and organizations to where they need to go
o Ability to understand complex information with ease and create organizational structure to simplify and align resources and material to create consistency across disparate projects
o Demonstrated success leading change management for complex technology projects
o Experience driving change management from an end user perspective (i.e., persona development)
o Continuous learner that integrates change management best practices into ways of working
o Experience and/or strong interest in change management principles, processes, methodologies and the "people side of change"
