Chipton-Ross is seeking a Sr. Principal Business Analyst for a remote contract opportunity.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
The Sr. Principal Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting multiple large-scale projects concurrently related to product software and process development, including development of requirements, testing plans and process documents. Products include cloud-based software used to facilitate ambulatory cardiac monitoring and reporting.
o Working with Product Management, the IDTF, Customer Experience, Finance and IT ensures that needs of key stakeholders are analyzed and clearly specified.
O Collects, analyzes and verifies requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.
O Participates as a product and feature subject matter expert in product definition and support.
O Translates conceptual user requirements into functional requirements / technical specifications in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team.
o Creates process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team.
O Working with the business leaders, develops process documentation and work instructions with a focus on quality and team efficiency.
o Defines and executes testing plan to identify functionality or data issues up stream in the development process and prior to implementation.
O Supports the technical team with preparation of documents for regulatory compliance to the FDA and other global standards.
o Identifies and solves strategic and tactical product and program problems.
O Drives cross functional decision making in the areas of program strategy, project scope, task and feature prioritization, and feature definition.
o Provides guidance and mentoring to team members in navigating product development and production support of a medical device.
o Supports the project manager in completing project plan tasks, managing team / stakeholder expectations for timeline and deliverables, drafting stakeholder communications and meeting project milestones.
o Other duties, as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
O 12+ years required experience with Business Analyst / Project Analyst roles with demonstrable evidence of successfully partnering with customers and achieving shared goals and outcomes.
o Extensive experience on projects for software engineering and IT with a customer facing product focus.
O Healthcare and/or medical device experience is preferred.
O Solid understanding of software development methodologies and process
O Proven experience building, maintaining and leveraging strategic and cross-functional relationships through effective communication and collaborative leadership.
O Proven track record of analytical ability, operational excellence and detail orientation.
O Strong collaboration, stakeholder management and communication skills-including verbal, written, negotiation and overcoming objections.
O Advanced analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
O Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail.
O Extremely organized and highly self-motivated and directed.
O Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure.
O Enjoys working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
O Accredited BS/BA degree required in related Engineering discipline. Focus on Software and Project Management skills. BSCS preferred.
WORK HOURS:
First shift, Full Time **PST hours**
RMTEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
