- Chipton-Ross is seeking 4 (four) Aircraft Electrical Installer B's for a contract opportunity in Tulsa, OK.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
Aircraft Electrical and Avionics experience/ exposure in General Aviation.
4 years minimum 145 Repair Station Experience.
Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Proficient support individual contributor. Works under limited supervision. May be a resource to other employees in areas of expertise. Assignments are at times difficult requiring some judgment. Must be somewhat knowledgeable in interpreting electrical engineering drawings, component installation and wire termination list. Must be somewhat knowledgeable in standard electrical termination processes and tooling i.e. DMC, TE, etc. Be able to assist in post installation operational checks of all installed and disturbed systems. Strong desire to learn the proper techniques in troubleshooting systems. Be willing and able to support the aircraft at times in the field when the aircraft are away from home station. Be flexible at times in work hours or shifts in order to meet company objectives.
Displays a strong pride in workmanship. Works well with others.
Follows company guidelines and policies. Dependable work ethic.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Clearance is desired.
Power-point skills a plus.
Familiar with Microsoft Excel & Word.
145 Repair station experience a plus.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
**Education MUST be accredited**
WORK HOURS:
Full-Time Monday-Thursday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM and Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30PM
Candidate must be flexible at times in work hours or shifts in order to meet company objectives.
ADDITIONAL:
Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
