Chipton-Ross is seeking a quantity of 3 Supply Chain Specialists (Level 2) for a contract/remote opportunity.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Bachelor's Degree with 3 or more years of relevant experience, or 5 years or more years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong data analysis skills.
Must be detail oriented with excellent customer service skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP).
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Possess strong time management skills and able to work independently.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize tasks.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Effective interpersonal skills to coordinate efforts and work with other internal and external organizations.
General knowledge of purchasing practices and policies, procedures, regulations and laws.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administer sourcing and procurement activity of goods and services.
Administer RFI's, RFP's, RFQs, supplier/source selection, negotiation and awarding best value.
Coordinate with internal customers to ensure specifications and requirements are appropriate for the services or products required.
Generate transactional purchase orders and manage repository of procurement documentation.
Ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures.
Administer post-award supplier management activity.
Expedite purchase orders to provide on-time delivery to meet or exceed the contractual delivery dates.
Prepares, administers and maintains required documentation.
Effectively communicate (verbal and written) documentation of issues and resolutions to buyer and internal customers.
Utilize ERP systems to resolve open Purchase Order issues.
Work with suppliers, buyers and internal customers to obtain delivery timelines and any other information as required.
Coordinates with suppliers, buyers and internal customers.
Work effectively with accounts payable, operations, labs, and other internal customers to resolve issues, invoice discrepancies, shipping shortages and overages, other purchasing related problems.
Utilize technical skills to update, analyze, and validate data reports.
Monitor and review performance operational metrics and service level reporting.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited program.
WORK HOURS:
Full-Time 5/40 work week - 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
RMTEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
