Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Financial Analyst for a contract opportunity in Bingen, WA.

This position is 100% onsite.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Strong competency with ERP accounting systems and process; experience with Deltek Cost Point and Cobra is preferred.
Working knowledge of accounting theory and GAAP
Data entry skills
Comfortable with math, calculations, and reconciliation
Must have strong listening and communication skills
Must have meticulous attention to detail
Must be a self-starter with capability to be achieve a high level of productivity remotely
Must have strong organization and time management skills
Must be good at identifying and resolving problems
Must be a team player willing to contribute to overall team objectives.
Able to explain and troubleshoot financial issues with non-finance professionals.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for providing high quality business partnering and accurate, actionable financial analysis and insight to Program Managers
Consolidate data and information from many sources into an integrated financial/business picture that management can utilize and act on.
Performs transaction research, analysis, and prepares financial reports.
Perform journal entries and account reconciliations.
Responsible for ensuring appropriate revenue recognition in compliance with established accounting policy.
Analyze and validate actual contract performance against forecast.
Prepare contract billings and assist with forecasting cash receipts.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree or 4-7 years with a Master's degree.

Full-Time
9/80 work schedule
1st Shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
