Chipton-Ross is seeking an Industrial Engineer 3 for a contract opportunity Lake Charles, LA.

Per Diem only offered to those candidates living outside a 50-mile radius of the work location.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Proficient in Microsoft Project
o Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, along with experience in areas like capacity planning, process improvement, and project management.
o Understanding and analyzing complex systems, processes, and operations.
o Familiarity with manufacturing processes, workflows, and quality control.
o Proficiency in using relevant software and tools, including ERP systems like SAP.
o Knowledge of automation technologies and their application in industrial settings.
o Ability to perform capacity planning and analyze production rates.
o Designing efficient factory layouts and simulating workflows.
o Managing multiple projects, setting priorities, and communicating critical dates.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Looking for an Industrial Engineer to analyze and design sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations. Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods. May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities.
Responsibilities:
o Improving business performance through lean processes and operational efficiency, analyzing existing processes, identifying inefficiencies, and developing strategies to eliminate waste and improve workflow.
o Analyze and optimize existing processes to identify areas for improvement.
o Develop and implement strategies to eliminate waste and improve workflow.
o Design and implement efficient systems that integrate workers, machines, materials, and information.
o Monitor labor performance and develop plans for improvement.
o Monitor capital resource loading and develop plans for capacity management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Experience in operations engineering, ERP systems like SAP, and experience in manufacturing/production.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
School must be accredited.

WORK HOURS:
This position is up to 6 days a week, Monday through Saturday, 6:00 AM to 4:42 PM.


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
