Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Sr. Material Handler for a contract opportunity in San Francisco, CA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Minimum of 2 years of work experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field.
o Ability to operate a forklift, scissor lift, and other similar equipment or obtain a certification through company training
o Effective interpersonal and communication skills
o Able to work independently and set priorities

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Sr Material Handler support operations by leading the material flow throughout the production process. The position is responsible for receiving incoming materials, staging within departmental areas, and ensuring accurate inventory across the San Francisco site.
o Receive incoming materials and facilitate movement of materials across the site
o Maintain accurate inventory through receipts, adjustments, and cycle counts
o Dispatch hazardous materials per regulatory guidelines.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
o Able to handle chemicals, including hazardous materials
o Frequently lift 50 lbs and occasionally lift more than 50 lbs with assistance

REQUIRED EDUCATION
Accredited High School Diploma.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time M-F 8:00AM-5:30PM;

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
