Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Pipe Insulator's for a contract opportunity in Pascagoula, MS.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
3 years of Pipe Insulation experience in an Industrial, Marine, Shipbuilding, or Petro-Chemical environment with experience installing rubber insulation. Must be able to work assigned shift as production needs.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
The candidate will remove, repair and install various types of pipe insulation; including fiberglass, calcium silicate and rubatex from piping systems, ventilation systems and various components and structures throughout the ship.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate must have the ability to lift 50 lbs., climb, crawl, bend, squat and stand 8 hours per day and work in various work environments.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High School diploma or equivalent.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift.

ADDITIONAL:
Additional hourly PD is 18.38 for those that live over 75 miles with valid utility bill. This new rate will require a minimum of 2 hours worked daily and is capped at 8 hours maximum per day. There is NO differentiation for Premium or No Premium.



Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
