Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler for a contract opportunity in Chelmsford, MA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Interim Secret is required to start. Supplier will be required to start interim clearance process at offer stage.
o Basic computer skills required, including ability to navigate digital systems for timekeeping, work instructions, and task confirmation.
o Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
o Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
o Ability to learn J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610.
o Experience with electrical and/or micro-electronics preferred.
o Knowledge of ESD procedures and test equipment.
o Strong work ethic and a reputation for punctuality and reliability, with a desire to grow and learn in their role.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, and products following work instruction and drawings.
o Use microscopes, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment to meet quality requirements.
o Read and interpret assembly process/work instructions and work instruction processes.
o Work with microscopic to large components that may require visual magnification.
o Use various hand tools (such as tweezers, rulers, and cutters) and pneumatic tools (such as torque drivers, and screwdrivers).
o Maintain accurate data entry related to production processes.
o Collaborate with teams members to improve throughput and continuous improvement.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited HSD/GED

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time 4/10 work schedule 1st Shift (M-TH) 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
There is a possibility for overtime.

ADDITIONAL:

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
