Chipton-Ross is seeking a Machinist for a contract opportunity in Chelmsford, MA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Must have an Interim Secret Clearance
o Basic computer skills required, including ability to navigate digital systems for timekeeping, work instructions, and task confirmation.
o Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
o Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operations.
o Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
o Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
o Knowledge of ESD procedures and machine equipment.
o Strong work ethic and a reputation for punctuality and reliability, with a desire to grow and learn in their role.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, and products following work instruction and drawings.
o Make adjustments to machine settings as necessary to maintain product quality.
o Read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly process/work instructions and work instruction processes.
o Select and install cutting tools, adjust machine settings, and monitor the machining process to ensure quality and accuracy.
o Sets up and operates any type of precision machine tool to make original parts, tools, mechanisms.
o Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment.
o Maintain accurate data entry related to production processes.
o Collaborate with teams members to improve throughput and continuous improvement.

Accredited HSD/GED

4/10 work schedule
1st Shift
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
