Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Electronic Technician 2's for a contract opportunity in Oklahoma City, OK.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Formal Electronics Training
o Working knowledge and experience performing Aircraft Wiring Repairs.
o Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
o Demonstrated ability to use basic manual tools and General test Equipment and meters.
o This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Looking for Technician 2 level employees with formal or military electronics training. The selected candidates will have experience repairing aircraft wiring and terminating Amphenol or Cannon plugs by soldering or crimping pins. Manufacturing Mil-Std 1553 Cables is considered a plus. Advance Test Support Solutions (ATSS) department in Oklahoma City, OK. As a member of the Manufacturing team, you'll work in a fast-paced team environment to build Special Test Equipment, Chassis' and aircraft wire harness assemblies. You'll interface with Design Engineers and other technicians to build this laboratory test Equipment. The products built will support two major defense programs.
o Kit Parts and build Rack Mounted Chassis assemblies
o Identify, troubleshoot, and remediate equipment issues to support system build-up and Integration Site sell-off.
o Communicate project status to the Integration and Test (I&T) IPT Lead.
o Perform general tasks associated with kitting and work movement between three Oklahoma City sites.
o Design, develop, and implement testing methods for individual pieces of equipment (both custom and COTS) and entire systems.
o Compile data and help to define changes required in testing methodology, equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, and new testing requirements.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Active Secret or higher security clearance.
o Working knowledge of Mil-Std 1553 bus hardware and familiarity with using oscilloscopes, and the functions of a Digital Multi-meter.
o Aircraft Wiring Familiarity and Harness repair.
o Current IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certification a plus.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
High School Diploma is required.
School must be accredited.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time 9/80 workweek. 1st shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
