- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Planner for a contract opportunity in Twinsburg, OH.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
o Knowledge of production and operations processes.
o Ability to use metrics to track and manage production efficiency and material flow.
o Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
o Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
o Capability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
o Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma is a plus.
o Eagerness to learn new processes and tools for efficient planning.
0-2 years of experience in a supply chain or planning role, with a foundational understanding of production and operations.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
o Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems, such as SAP or Oracle.
o Basic knowledge of Bill of Materials (BoM) management and production routing processes.
o Familiarity with inventory management techniques such as cycle counting, ABC analysis, and demand forecasting.
o Experience with non-conforming material handling, including documentation, scrap processing, and repair order management.
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
o Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with project managers, production teams, and logistics.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
WORK HOURS:
Full-Time 1st Shift
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
