Chipton-Ross is seeking a Scientist for a contract opportunity in Canoga Park, CA.
This position is 100% onsite.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
16+ years of rotordynamics experience (B.S. or graduate degree count toward total)
Experience with rotordynamics analysis
Experience supporting aerospace turbomachinery development and production programs
Experience reviewing turbomachinery high frequency data
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop solutions to unique or complex problems that significantly affect major programs
Perform rotordynamic analyses using classical and modeling approaches
Support turbomachinery development and production-related issues
Correlate analyses with high frequency dynamic data
Report status and document analysis results
Work with a senior staff on design and analysis of rocket engine turbomachinery
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Advanced knowledge of rotordynamics principles and practices
Experience in aerospace turbomachinery
Familiarity with high frequency dynamic data correlation
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited related engineering degree (type not specified)
WORK HOURS:
Part-time (hybrid potential)
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
