Chipton-Ross is seeking a Sustainment Engineer for a contract opportunity in Grand Prairie, TX.
This position is 100% onsite.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
1-2 years of experience in sustainment engineering, logistics, or a related field
1-2 years of experience with shipping, receiving, and warehousing
1-2 years of experience operating material handling equipment (e.g., pallet stacker, forklift)
1-2 years of experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to lift items up to 40 lbs
Team collaboration and problem-solving skills
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support After Market Enterprises (AME) sustainment program operations
Interface with engineering, logistics, and field teams to ensure lifecycle support
Communicate with Field Service Representatives and internal teams
Develop technical documentation and data analysis
Ensure inventory control standards are met, including labeling, shelf life, and packaging
Execute warehouse tasks and follow safety protocols
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Technical writing and oral presentation skills
Familiarity with DD250 process and electrostatic discharge procedures
Military or Army supply system experience
Forklift or electric pallet stacker experience
Troubleshooting experience on M270A1 and/or HIMARS
Understanding of MLRS M270A1/HIMARS systems including electrical and hydraulic systems
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
WORK HOURS:
4/10A - 1st Shift
Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Overtime may be required
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
