Chipton-Ross is seeking an FPGA Design Engineering for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):. 6+ years of experience in FPGA design with a BS, or 4+ years of experience with an MS. 4+ years of HDL programming experience with VHDL, Verilog, and/or System Verilog. 4+ years of experience in Hardware-Software Integration and Validation. 4+ years of experience with FPGA toolsets.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops, designs, verifies, and documents Application-Specific Integrated Circuits (ASIC) and Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) development. Determines architecture design, logic design, and system simulation. Assignments include the analysis of all aspects from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power utilization. Typically uses specialized equipment to establish operation data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results. Supports circuit card designer with trade studies. Develops and releases design requirement specifications for product. Provides support in the production environment by debugging and troubleshooting FPGA-related issues.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience in supporting production environments and solving complex FPGA-related issues. Ability to perform trade studies and provide recommendations for optimal design solutions.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
WORK HOURS:
4/10A-1st Shift
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
