Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple ASIC & FPGA Design Engineering professionals for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
8+ years of experience in FPGA design with a BS, or 6+ years of experience with an MS. 6+ years of HDL programming experience with VHDL, Verilog, and/or System Verilog. 6+ years of experience in Hardware-Software Integration and Validation. 6+ years of experience with FPGA toolsets.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops, designs, verifies, and documents Application-Specific Integrated Circuits (ASIC) and Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) development.
Determines architecture design, logic design, and system simulation.
Performs analysis from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, timing, and power utilization.
Uses specialized equipment to establish operation data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results. Supports circuit card designer with trade studies.
Develops and releases design requirement specifications for product. Supports debugging and troubleshooting of FPGA-related issues in the production environment.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Active Secret Clearance is preferred. Experience supporting circuit card development and validation in production environments.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or related discipline

WORK HOURS:
4/10A-1st Shift


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
