- Chipton-Ross is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator for a contract opportunity in Miami, OK.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
· All employees must be able to read and follow instructions both written and oral
· Strong attention to detail
· General warehouse experience.
· Experience with computers and scanning equipment preferred
Knowledge of excel and ERP systems to maneuver through to do transactions.
· Able to work independently and possess problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
· Strong verbal/written communication skills; ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
· Ability to stand and move about including reaching, bending, stooping, grasping, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motion
· Ability to use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and understand chemical hygiene, including labels and SDS (Safety Data Sheets)
· Flexibility/willingness to adapt to operational needs
· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced controlled environment with additional overtime as required
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
As an Inventory Coordinator I, you will be responsible for following all standard operating procedures (SOP’s) to complete all internal and external customer requests. Position will be in one of the functional areas of the warehouse including receiving material, bin transactions, scheduling trucks for incoming and outgoing materials on a daily basis.
· Work safely following all safety requirements.
· Receiving, examining, sorting, arranging, counting, items for storage or ship in accordance with established SOP procedures and customer requirements.
Cycle counting of raw materials used in production process
· Prepares accurate documentation requirements for packing and shipping of hazardous chemicals.
· Practices good housekeeping and keeps inventory neat, clean, and orderly.
· Verifies accurate storage conditions of products and notifies Supervisor of any inventory issues that may arise such as Can’t Find, Expired Product, Breakage, and Out-Of-Stocks.
· Assist other team members, as needed, to ensure customer satisfaction maintain collaborative relationships and teamwork.
· Other duties as assigned
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Up to 6 months of work experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand.
· Specific PPE is required; including gloves, hair & beard net, safety glasses with no makeup/jewelry, and the like
50% office work/ 50% warehouse inventory position.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High school diploma or equivalent required.
WORK HOURS:
M-F; 7:00AM - 3:30PM. Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
