Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Logistics Management Analyst for a contract opportunity in Alexandria, VA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Must have an active Top Secret Clearance
Comprehensive knowledge of DoD policy relating to Supply Chain, Property, and Inventory (e.g., DoD 4100.39, 4140.01, 4160.21, 4160.28, 5000.64, 8320.04, etc.). General knowledge of governing DoD and Service supply chain logistic support systems, including but not limited to Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS), FEDLOG, Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP), H2 Federal Supply Classification (FSC), H6 Item Name Directory, Logistics Modernization Program (LMP), Global Combat Support System - Marine Corps / Army (GCSS-MC and GCSS-A), and Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS). Wide-ranging understanding of interoperability between all services supply chain data management. Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds unassisted. Must be able to travel CONUS/OCONUS as required.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Controls the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between point of origin through customer placement to meet customer requirements. Ensures that customer service and time objectives are met within financial constraints to support marketing and financial objectives. Oversees execution and improvement of logistics processes such as replenishment systems, demand management, and electronic data systems. Builds strategic relationships with customers through logistics initiatives. Integrates learnings from various sources to improve competitiveness and efficiency.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines. Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint. Familiarity with Special Operations Logistics Management System (SOLMAN) and Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS).

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
