Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Help Desk Analyst I professionals for a hybrid contract opportunity in Topeka, KS.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Must possess strong keyboarding skills (minimum 40 WPM), effective communication skills across technical and non-technical users, and the ability to work independently in a high-volume environment. Must have customer service experience and be familiar with Incident Management software, remote management tools, and basic troubleshooting. Experience with Office 365, Citrix, and mobile operating systems preferred. Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass two background checks. Candidate must pay for on-site parking and have a reliable internet connection for remote work.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Acts as first contact for computer, application, or system-related problems, providing remote and phone-based support for software, hardware, and connectivity issues. Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to Microsoft Office 365, VPN, Outlook, Citrix, and other applications. Documents tickets and follows up to resolution, while meeting SLAs and security policies. Provides courteous support to end users, guides users through diagnostics, and collaborates with team members. Participates in special projects, documents procedures, and communicates effectively with all levels of staff.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification preferred. ITIL knowledge or training a plus. Familiarity with ServiceNow and advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite is highly desirable. Experience supporting mobile users and remote troubleshooting required. Familiarity with support in regulated environments such as Wolf Creek is beneficial.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High School diploma and 2 years of experience on a Service Desk, or Associate's Degree with 2 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree with at least 1 year of recent Service Desk experience.
WORK HOURS:
Monday-Friday, 8-hour shift between 6:30 AM-5:00 PM. Hybrid: In-office 1 day/week or as scheduled, remaining days remote. Must participate in 24/7 on-call rotation (OT offered).
HYBEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
