Description: Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Application Developer-Product 2 for a hybrid (onsite/remote) opportunity in O'Fallon, IL.

Hybrid, typically working from home but may need to go to customer site to support as needed.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Active Interim Secret Security Clearance is required for this position.
o COMPTIA Security+
o Regular and predictable attendance is required.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this position you will be supporting the Mobility Enterprise Information Services (MEIS) which provides net-centric services as an enabler for new, modernized and current Mobility Air Force (MAF) command and control applications and capabilities supporting the U.S. Transportation Command and Air Mobility Command global mission. The Mobility Enterprise Information Services framework is a structure providing reusable common platform and information technology services, software products and components, and design patterns allowing for deployment into a common shared environment. As a sub-enterprise focused on the MAF beneath USTRANSCOM, this framework is an integral part of USTRANSCOM's overall service-oriented architecture strategy. You will assist with tasks to design, build, operate, and sustain web environments on AWS (Cloud One).

o Help Maintain pipelines and automated deployments using 3rd party and cloud-native DevSecOps tools based on the requirements of the Development teams.
o Perform maintenance on cloud-hosted or cloud-native DevSecOps tools to support pipelines and deployments.
o Work under the direction of mid and senior level DevSecOps engineers to maintain pipelines and deployments in cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Cloud Platform.
o Work with developers and application experts to test issues in cloud-based environments.
o Functional Responsibility: Automates Deployments, Tests, Troubleshoots, Maintains Cloud Environment, Maintains Cloud-based Tools.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Bash, Git, AWS, Ec2 and SSM

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited Associates Degree and 4yrs experience.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift
8am - 5pm
8 hours/day 40 hr./week

ADDITIONAL:
