Chipton-Ross is seeking an Information Technology Systems Administrator for a contract opportunity in Ogden, UT.

100% onsite

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Ability to obtain security clearance is required for this position.
o Active CompTIA Security+ certified (or similar certification meeting DoD Directive 8570.01 Certification Requirements).
o 5+ years of experience with Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems (Server 2016-2022, Windows 10-11).
o 5+ years of experience designing & implementing Windows Systems.
o Experience troubleshooting operating system and installation problems.
o Regular and predictable attendance is required

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role, you will support both in classified and unclassified areas as well as supporting the Little Mountain Test Facility. The selected candidate will be required to support installation, set-up and operational support with Windows systems and hardware interfaces. To be successful, the selected candidate must have an advanced understanding of Information Technology (IT) concepts and the ability to think independently and create solutions with non-standard equipment.

o Identifies computing requirements and confers on system needs.
o Performs a multidisciplined range of technical systems and application activities.
o Installs, configures and maintains multiplatform systems hardware, software and components.
o Develops, designs, integrates and maintains all computer applications.
o Prepares release planning for software and hardware across the system.
o Ensures system conforms with architectural objectives.
o Evaluates complex system's production readiness and supportability.
o Performs the restoration of routine to complex computing service operations.
o Integrates security solutions into information systems.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Accredited Bachelor's degree or higher.
o 3+ years of experience with Cisco switches and configurations.
o 5+ years of experience with a broad range of basic systems and application support.
o 5+ years of experience with maintaining/configuring AD.
o 5+ years of experience with PowerShell to enable consistent, high-quality integration of hardware assets.
o 3+ years of experience with scripts to automate deployment and configuration of operating systems.
o 5+ years of experience creating and maintaining multiple virtual servers based on VMware.
o 5+ years of experience evaluating and effectively communicating system problems and resolution.
o 5+ years of experience Integrating security solutions (McAfee, Splunk, HBSS) into information systems.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).

WORK HOURS
FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

ADDITIONAL:
Possible OT opportunities.

Duration: 6 months, possible FTE opportunity, possible extension.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a background check. Must clear prior to start date.
