Chipton-Ross is seeking a Systems Engineer 1 for a contract opportunity based in one of the following locations: Northridge, CA, Baltimore, MD or Tucson, AZ.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
o Experience with systems engineering tools such as IBM Rationale DOORS, Cameo or Rhapsody.
o Must have strong technical problem solving, written and verbal communication skills.
o Current Active DoD Secret clearance or higher with a Periodic Reinvestigation within the last 5 years.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Looking for a Systems Engineer- Requirements to support the Stand in Attack Weapon (SiAW) Program. You will be a member of a high performing, systems engineering team interacting with customers, program management, cross-functional teams of engineers and senior technologists. The SiAW team members work in a fast pace environment and requires individual team members to be highly adaptable problem solvers. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to requirements gap analysis, developing major sub- system specifications, managing the development, allocation and traceability of customer requirements, etc. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site in Northridge, CA; Baltimore, MD; or Tucson, AZ. No remote/telework arrangement is available for this position.
Responsibilities:
o Manage system requirements in the Requirements Management databases (DOORS).
o Regularly interface with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, other team members and team members on other teams.
o Develop system specifications and defining performance requirements for major subsystems.
o Manage the development, allocation, and traceability of customer requirements to system and lower-level requirements.
o Generate activity and use case diagrams in Cameo.
o Conduct requirement gap analysis for subsystem-level requirements.
o Plan and develop system integration, test, and requirement verification activities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Experience in Missile/Weapon development/sustainment programs.
o Experience with design in an aerospace environment.
o Experience with military in aircraft weapons release systems or weapon systems.
o Experience with system/subsystem/software/hardware integration, test, and verification.
o Experience using Cameo or similar to support MBSE tasks.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline is required.
School must be accredited.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time 9/80 workweek. 1st shift. Position is 100% on site. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site in Northridge, CA; Baltimore, MD; or Tucson, AZ. No remote/telework arrangement is available for this position.

ADDITIONAL:
Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
