BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Ability to obtain security clearance is required for this position.
o Minimum of 2 years or equivalent experience in aero integration and verification, with a focus on military or commercial aircraft.
o Strong knowledge of airframe systems, structures, and materials.
o Experience with test planning, execution, and data analysis.
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client is seeking a highly skilled Associate Aero Integration & Verification Engineer to join our team working on the T-7 platform the St. Louis, MO region. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the integration and verification activities of the aero systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements as part of the Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (SEIT) capability. The St. Louis region is continuing to grow, and SEIT is looking for motivated, talented engineers. SEIT engineers are essential to the development, safety and success of T-7. Project: Team is in systems engineering, integration and testing - looking to hire individuals who will be responsible for the integration and test portion for each specialty area on the aircraft.
o Lead the integration and verification of airframe systems testing activities, ensuring all systems meet performance and safety specifications and requirements.
o Actively participates in development of flight test readiness reviews, test plan and test matrix development.
o Coordinates with Flight test POCs for test execution, including test coverage support and test monitoring for collection of data and reports for verification activities.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to resolve technical issues and ensure successful integration.
o Analyze test data and provide recommendations for design improvements and corrective actions.
o Support the development of airframe specifications and requirements documentation.
o Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and team members.
o Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to ensure airframe systems are designed for testability and manufacturability.
o Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to airframe integration and verification.
o Tracks and updates tasking progress on a weekly basis.
o Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and peers.
o Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Experience with the T-7 platform or similar aircraft programs.
o Knowledge of systems engineering principles and practices.
o Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies.
o Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards related to aircraft design and testing (e.g., FAA, MIL-STD).
o Proficient in using engineering tools and software for modeling, simulation, and analysis.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, computer science.
