Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking an Assembler for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.

This position is 100% onsite.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Experience with IPC-620 standards, including:
Crimping open and closed barrels
Coax (BNC's, Virginia or Mac Panel)
Soldering
Solder sleeves
Daisy chains
Solder splices
Ability to perform self-inspections (understanding criteria - acceptable or defect recognition)
Ability to follow work instructions and interpret engineering drawings

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assemble electromechanical subassemblies in a production environment
Perform self-inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards
Interpret and work from technical drawings and written work instructions
Ensure proper use of tools and adherence to IPC-620 workmanship standards
Support efficient production with attention to detail in cable routing and component placement

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Mechanical and electrical experience on subassemblies
Torque tool usage (setting and application)
Cable routing (bend radius awareness, service loops, dressing of wires)

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited HSD/GED

WORK HOURS:
4/10 - 1st Shift


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
