Description: Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Assemblers for a contract opportunity in Manassas, VA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Ability to build and populate electronics subassemblies
Experience routing cables and conducting continuity and resistance checks
Ability to perform pressure, Hi-Pot, and impedance tests and prepare units for customer delivery
Experience assisting with customer and quality inspections
Ability to work from engineering drawings, electronic work instructions, and written or verbal instructions
Experience using torque wrenches and small hand tools
Familiarity with hand trucks and specialized testing equipment, including pressure test stations and High Pot testers
Comfortable working with compounds and solutions such as epoxies, isopropyl, acetone, and other corrosive chemicals
Adherence to ESD protocols and use of PPE such as safety glasses and ESD equipment
Ability to maintain accurate records, including timekeeping and safety training
Computer proficiency for accessing work instructions, logging discrepancies, recording time, scheduling tasks, and email communication
Willingness to work weekend overtime (Friday/Saturday) as needed

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform a variety of tasks in manufacturing and final assembly
Build and populate electronics subassemblies
Route cables and conduct continuity and resistance checks
Perform pressure, Hi-Pot, and impedance tests
Prepare units for customer delivery
Assist with customer and quality inspections
Work from engineering drawings, electronic work instructions, and verbal/written instructions
Operate torque wrenches, hand tools, hand trucks, and specialized testing equipment
Work with compounds and chemicals including epoxies, isopropyl, and acetone
Follow ESD and PPE protocols
Maintain accurate administrative and safety records
Use computers for work instructions, issue logging, timekeeping, scheduling, and communication

Accredited HSD/GED

4/10 work schedule
1st Shift
: Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
