Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Cable Assemblers for a contract opportunity in Oldsmar, FL.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Experience with cable harness assembly
Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and IPC-WHMA-A-620 standards
Experience using hand tools to strip, crimp, and assemble copper and coax wire
Ability to follow a process and read/understand print instructions
Experience with wire harness print reading
Experience with tools and technology used in cable assembly
Must be able to read and write English
Must pass a medical exam as outlined in the supplier guide

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform cable harness and soldering assembly
Use hand tools to strip, crimp, and assemble copper and coax wire
Follow documented processes and print instructions
Work 1st shift (Mon–Thurs 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM)

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
High mechanical aptitude
Prior experience with IPC 610/620 requirements and cable assembly

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited HSD/GED

WORK HOURS:
4/10 work schedule
1st Shift
5:00 AM – 3:30 PM EST


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
