Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Test Engineer for a contract opportunity in Ocala, FL.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Must have an Interim Secret Clearance
1-2 years of experience with Power Electronics
2-4 years of experience with Production
2-4 years of experience with Electrical Testing
2-4 years of experience with User Acceptance Testing
1-2 years of experience with Validation Test Plans
1-2 years of experience applying technical principles, theories, and concepts
1-2 years of experience with Test Stations in a Production Environment
1-2 years of experience with Microsoft Office
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the operation, calibration, and maintenance of test stations used during optical and electrical checks for production units
Support root cause failure analysis for failed production units
Recommend and implement corrective actions for test stations or failed units
Collaborate with manufacturing engineering to resolve issues
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Familiarity with common lab equipment such as DMMs, oscilloscopes, and power supplies
Experience troubleshooting test equipment using schematics and documentation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work well in a team environment


REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with 5 years of professional experience or 3 years with a related Master's degree

WORK HOURS:
4/10 work schedule
1st Shift


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
