Chipton-Ross is seeking a Computing Architect 4 for a hybrid (remote/onsite) opportunity in Tukwila, WA.
Hybrid - 1 day a week onsite.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Certified IBM Deployment/Administration professional in WebSphere.
o 4+ years of experience with the development, Configuration, planning, deployment, administration and support of WAS Applications.
o Strong communication skills, technical discipline, initiative and teaming attitude.
o Regular and predictable attendance is required.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establish WebSphere environments for the production pipeline of Client's Common Manufacturing Execution System (CMES). CMES is the digital heartbeat of our factories at Client and we rely on this system to build and deliver Commercial products.
o Build development environments on new hardware and provide support during application development.
o Provide direction to development teams on design principles to support high availability, performance and application resiliency.
o Build production systems and provide support through to go live.
o Participate in ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting and delivering continuous improvement.
o Develop, implement and maintain policies and procedures for ensuring security and integrity of WAS systems.
o Experience with database systems, particularly Oracle for backend application support.
Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited Technical bachelor's degree and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 7 or more years or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four-year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.
WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift
8:00 AM - 4:30 PMEmployment will be contingent on clearing a background check. Must clear prior to start date.
