Chipton-Ross is seeking a Procurement Agent (Level 2) for a contract opportunity in Seattle, WA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
• 1+ years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain processes.
• 1+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners.
• 1+ years of experience with collecting, organizing synthesizing and analyzing procurement data, Supplier Health/Key Performance Indicators, Rate Readiness capability and capacity assessments.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Power Point, OneNote, SharePoint).
• Regular and predictable attendance is required
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Procurement Agent on the 737 Buyer Furnished Equipment (BFE) Team, you will work directly with factory operations to address emergent part demand, drive supplier performance, and optimize processes through proactive project management to support aircraft build and delivery. Working in a very dynamic, fast-paced environment while learning new skills, solving challenging problems, and experiencing opportunities to grow in the SC organization. This position is supplier facing and will be responsible for managing the relationship with external suppliers and project managing all aspects of their performance. This position requires a self-starter who can balance daily execution with strategic initiatives, problem-solving, and communication across internal and external stakeholders. Duties may include (but are not limited to):
• Supply chain operations activities, inclusive of technical meeting coordination between the supplier and internal stakeholders, ensuring supplier commitments are achieved, coordination of supplier deliveries, line of balance management, etc.
• Develop procurement and supply chain solutions, strategies and policies to support customer requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Interpret and enforce contract terms and conditions.
• Maintain and build partnerships and relationships across various business units with internal and external customers, stakeholders, and peers
• Conducts risk, issues, and opportunities management.
• Performs on-site validation at suppliers of production readiness.
• Initiates and helps to complete supplier improvement activities and facilitates integration of results into contracting activities.
• Provides regular communication to Program, engineering, and contracting counterparts and integrates collaborators as vital to resolve issues.
• Reviews procurement/planning systems to verify accuracy.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
• Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree
• 3+ years of experience in Procurement processes.
• 3+ years of experience in Microsoft Office products
• 3+ years of experience with ERP systems such as ERPLN and/or SAP
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Accredited education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience , 7 years' related work experience, etc.).
WORK HOURS
FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT; 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Must be able to work Saturday and Sunday
ADDITIONAL
The candidate selected to fill this assignment must successfully pass a credit check performed by the client.Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
