Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Application Security Lifecycle Specialists (Level 3) for a contract opportunity in Kent, WA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Strong, recent experience building production React applications using modern patterns (hooks, context or state management library, component testing).
- Proven experience implementing role-based UIs, workflows and approval processes.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration patterns.
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills.
- Familiarity with Oracle databases and SQL.
- Experience with secure authentication/authorization (e.g., SSO, SAML)
- Experience with testing frameworks and CI/CD tools.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build a web application to automate clients “Fit for Use” risk-evaluation process for products and services. The application will extract and consolidate authoritative document data, identify information types, hosting locations, and user visibility, orchestrate multi domain reviews and approvals, and produce an Authority to Operate (ATO) artifact. Regular and predictable attendance is required. Duties may include (but are not limited to):
- Design and implement a modern, responsive front-end using React following current best practices (hooks, functional components, state management, component testing).
- Integrate with backend services/APIs to:
- Pull and aggregate data from authoritative documents and data sources to determine information types, hosting locations, and visibility roles.
- Support role-based workflows that assemble the appropriate reviewers across governance domains.
- Manage review/approval workflows (notifications, comments, approvals/rejections, audit trail).
- Orchestrate and generate the final ATO artifact and related artifacts/reports.
- Build or integrate client-side UI components for user workflows, document views, and approval screens.
- Ensure quality through unit and integration tests, code reviews, and CI/CD pipeline compatibility.
- Working React application meeting functional requirements.
- Integration code and API contracts for backend/data sources (assume backend or services can be provided; if not, developer will implement backend endpoints as agreed).
- Deployment/run instructions and a basic operations guide.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Relational database experience and strong SQL skills
- Typescript experience - strongly typed React/nodejs applications
- Performance optimization tactics such as server-side rendering (SSR), code splitting, lazy loading, memorization.
- Understanding of accessibility (a11y) – ARIA roles, keyboard navigation
WORK HOURS FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT; 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM HYBEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
