Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking 3 Assemblers (2nd Shift) for a contract opportunity in Hawthorne, CA.



Position Summary " Electrical testing of sealed relays utilizing test jigs/fixtures and programmable test equipment all driven by process specification and production routers. " Data entry for labor charging and time keeping. " Will be cross trained throughout the department as well as other functions as requested by Supervisor.

Qualifications " Must have a High School diploma or equivalent GED " Must have good eye-hand coordination/ dexterity to utilize small hand tools under a microscope and/or to be able to load relays into a test jigs/fixtures. " Work as a team as well as individually. " Must have basic computer skills to make daily data entries for labor charging and operation data entry for inventory control " Must be able to read and write English, be able to perform simple calculations " Must be able to interpret specifications/procedures/drawings, operation travelers and safety guidelines with the ability to common sense understanding to carry out the instructions " Must have good oral and written communication skills to keep colleagues and Supervisor informed of progress or issues and to maintain documentation current " Must be motivated to learn and be able to cross-trained on other functions and equipment.

Work Schedule 2nd Shift Monday - Friday 3pm to 11:30pm
