Chipton-Ross is seeking an Engineering Technical Specialist 3 for a contract opportunity in Berkeley, MO.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor degree or higher
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Familiarity with methods to assess a customer's organization, capabilities, processes, support structure, preferences, challenges, and constraints to deliver targeted product support and resolve technical issues.
  • Proven skill in synthesizing information, drawing conclusions, and making practical recommendations based on analyzed data.
  • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Develops, documents, implements, provides consultation on the application of, and ensures compliance with, requirements for use of engineering tools, processes and standards. Provides training and assistance in the utilization of processes and tools and supports the integration of engineering designs. Ensures regulatory requirements are met. Identifies and validates user access roles, produces tip sheets and understands system interoperability. Provides configuration management, coordinates changes, performs assessments of compliance and manages the implementation of product standards across company business units and programs. Represents company interests on external standards committees and develops, adapts and/or adopts external standards for internal use. Develops, maintains and distributes engineering documents, reports and correspondence to enable business activity. Collects, analyzes and validates engineering performance metrics and coordinates organizational requirements to support business needs. Works under general direction. Position Responsibilities:
  • Review of Adaptive Planning Needs
  • Lead and engage with managers and programs to assess and review their Adaptive Planning requirements.
  • Input planned requisition (PR) requests into the Adaptive Planning system.
  • Data Entry for Candidate Applications
  • Input and maintain data in a tracker for candidate applications.
  • Collaboration with Staffing Focals
  • Work closely with staffing focal points to review and evaluate resumes.
  • Interview Support
  • Ensure that interviews are adequately supported by relevant managers.
  • Attend and support candidate interview (as required)
  • Interview Coordination
  • Collaborate with the Global Talent Acquisition (GTA) team to set up interviews.
  • Manage the disposition of candidate’s post-interview.
  • Calendar Management
  • Maintain an organized calendar of all scheduled interviews.
  • o Maintain an organized cadence for review of candidate resumes.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience with hiring process.
  • Experience reviewing engineering resumes.
  • Experience with Adaptive Planning.
  • Applicants must have good communication, analytical, and organizational skills and enjoy working in a team environment.
  • REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
  • **Education MUST be accredited**

    WORK HOURS:

  • Full-Time-1st Shift
  • 08:00am-05:00pm
  • ADDITIONAL:

  • This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.


  • Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
