Chipton-Ross is seeking a Design Engineer for a contract opportunity in Fort Worth, TX.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Must have at least 3 years of experience with control surface design.
- Must have at least 5 years of experience with Catia V5.
- Must have at least 5 years of experience with PDM
- Must have at least 5 years of experience with Creation and/or modification of primary and secondary structural parts, assemblies, installations, and interface control models/documents.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creation and/or modification of primary and secondary structural parts, assemblies, installations, and interface control models/documents.
- Contributing to developing, testing, and validating aircraft structural designs.
- Assisting in creating system requirements, trade studies, statements of work, and test plans.
- Coordination with internal Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), with some interaction with external IPTs and suppliers.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Accredited HSD/GED
WORK HOURS:
- Full-Time
- 4/10 work schedule
- 1st Shift
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
