Chipton-Ross is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Engineer for a contract opportunity in Camden, AR.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 9 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering or related roles.
  • Proven experience in data analytics and the development of Power BI dashboards.
  • Expertise in designing and deploying Power Applications.
  • Strong skills in data mining and establishing relationships within Power BI for automation purposes.
  • Extensive experience with statistical process control (SPC) methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Ability to work independently and lead complex projects with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated experience in mentoring and guiding junior engineers.
  • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Lead Manufacturing Engineer (Level 5) to join our Statistical Process Control and Data Analytics team. The successful candidate will specialize in data analytics, creating Power BI dashboards, and developing Power Applications. This role requires proficiency in data mining, establishing relationships within Power BI for automation purposes, and leveraging data-driven insights to optimize manufacturing processes. As a Lead Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of advanced Power BI dashboards to provide actionable insights and enhance decision-making. You will design, develop, and deploy Power Applications to streamline and automate manufacturing processes. Additionally, you will perform data mining and establish relationships in Power BI to support automation and data integration efforts. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will identify data analytics needs and provide solutions that drive productivity and efficiency. You will also utilize statistical process control (SPC) methods to monitor and improve manufacturing processes. This role requires you to develop and maintain detailed documentation of data analytics processes, tools, and best practices. You will mentor and guide junior engineers in data analytics techniques, Power BI, and Power Applications, and effectively communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Advanced degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Knowledge of database management and experience with Snowflake.
  • Familiarity with Lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience with other data visualization and analytics tools (Minitab, Jump, Induction Automation, etc.).
  • REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Accredited Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • WORK HOURS:

  • Full-time-4/10
