Chipton-Ross is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Must have an Active Secret Clearance
  • 6+ years of C++ 2025 embedded real-time object-oriented development experience using Linux on multi-core processors
  • 3+ years of experience related to inertial navigation, guidance, autopilot, launch sequence and control, gimbal LOS control, or IR seeker image processing
  • 3+ years of 1553 interface experience
  • 3+ years of experience with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) using Git-lab and Bit-bucket.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Familiarity with Free RTOS, Yocto, or Linux (CentOS7)
  • Working knowledge of C++ design patterns for embedded software development
  • Hands-on software/firmware/Hardware integration experience
  • Understanding of full software development lifecycle process including requirements analysis, design, code, integration, test and verification .
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps processes and tools (Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Automated Testing)
  • REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Accredited HSD/GED
