Chipton-Ross is seeking a Technician for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Must have ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
  • experience with engineering first drafts in an assembly setting.
  • Requires mechanical and electrical aptitude and the ability to determine when something needs to be rectified on an engineering drawing.
  • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive manufacturing of cables, prototypes, and production assemblies; repairing field and lab assets; and manufacturing initial builds working with Engineering.
  • Candidates should be able to work from schematics, engineering drawings and models, and written or verbal instructions.
  • Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
  • Performs calibration checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
  • Candidate shall modify/repair test equipment and prototypes according to drawing, specifications, or engineering liaison.
  • Candidate is responsible for performing all assigned duties in a safe and compliant manner and apprising supervision of all issues that could impact our business.
  • REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Accredited HSD/GED
  • WORK HOURS:

  • Full-Time
  • 4/10 work schedule
  • 1st Shift


  • Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
