Chipton-Ross is seeking an Assembler for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

The role requires reading technical drawings and blueprints, installing hardware stack-ups, and moving tools and materials efficiently while following safety and quality procedures.

SKILLS MATRIX:

  • Read Engineering Schematics- 2 - 4 Years
  • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Within the first 30 days the contractor will learn standard processes and assist teammates; by 60 days they will fabricate sub-assemblies, suggest design improvements, self-inspect, and apply continuous-improvement methods (6S/PMT); by 120 days they will perform workmanship self-inspections, rework as needed, and identify process efficiencies. Behavioral expectations include punctual attendance, active participation in team meetings, clear communication, respect, integrity, and adherence to safety rules.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Accredited High School Diploma or GED.
  • WORK HOURS:

  • Full-Time-4/10-1st Shift.


  • Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
