Chipton-Ross is seeking an APG Mechanic for a contract opportunity in Greenville, SC
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Must Have 4+ Years of recent aircraft experience (fighter preferred but not required)
- Aircraft Flightline Experience is Preferred
- Must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance or hold an active clearance
- Landing gear
- Powerplants
- Flight controls
- Fueling/Defueling
- Aircraft movement/Launch & Recovery
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for incoming and outgoing flight operations, follow on maintenance and routine trouble shooting.
- Mechanic will perform/assist with all launch, recovery, preflight/thru flight/Basic Post Flight inspections, ground handling, maintenance, engine runs, operational checkouts, and servicing.
- Perform routine troubleshooting, installation, repair and maintenance of all electro-mechanical and Pnuedralic systems and components on the aircraft.
- Responsible for the acceptableness of all electrical, hydraulic-pneumatic, propulsion, landing gear, flight control surfaces and periodic inspections, general airframe condition, aircraft furnishings and crew escape system of the aircraft.
- Will be required to remove panels and associated hardware to obtain access equipment requiring repair.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Accredited HSD/GED
WORK HOURS:
- Full-Time
- Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift as assigned after training
- 1st Shift - Mon. thru Thurs.; 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- 2nd Shift - Mon. thru Thurs.; 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
