Chipton-Ross is seeking a Technical Specialist for a contract opportunity in Long Beach, CA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 5+ years of experience presenting project status, progress, and changes in the project to identified project stakeholders
- Regular and predictable attendance is required
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Seeking a Technical Specialist to support the C-17 Sustainment Engineering organization. The successful applicant will be a highly-motivated self-started willing to work a diverse array of projects simultaneously. The selected candidate will work with both internal and external stakeholders to support the multi-disciplinary Sustainment Engineering team. Duties may include (but are not limited to):
- Supporting cross-functional teams, assisting in development, documentation, implementation, and review of Engineering requirements, metrics, and processes.
- Assist with budget management.
- Coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Prioritize, delegate and track tasks and action items needed to achieve project completion.
- Facilitate and resolve issues.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Experience working in a dynamic environment
- Experience collecting data, developing metrics, and conducting trend analysis
- Must be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams within client and external partners
- Able to develop and maintain relationships / partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners to develop collaborative plans and execute on projects
- Proactively seek information and direction to successfully complete the statement of work
- Must be flexible, with a high tolerance for organizational complexity and ability to work with team members across different cultures and time-zones
REQUIRED EDUCATION Accredited education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
WORK HOURS FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT; 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
