Chipton-Ross is seeking a Project Manager 2 for a contract opportunity in Pascagoula, MS.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of relevant exempt experience; Master's Degree and 1 years of relevant professional experience
  • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    We are seeking temporary assistance for a 6 month time period starting January 2026 to June 26th 2026. This assistance will be one position which will be located inside shipyard. Applicant will need to wear appropriate safety gear to enter and exit the shipyard which will be provided with the exception of steel toe shoes which will be the applicants responsibility. The assistance will involve entering and/or modifying information in the Quality Information System which is a developed interface that consists of web based data entry and navigation. The applicant will receive specific training in how to utilize this system and will be expected to assist all organizations in inputting, modifying and statusing these submittals. The applicant will be provided a list of contacts across organizations that will provide support and/or direction to make sure each entry is progressing promptly. The applicant will be required to maintain a transaction/task/action log for supervision and will be expected to be capable of providing specific updates as necessary. These updates will require the use of Excel to generate.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION:

    Accredited Bachelor's Degree.

    WORK HOURS:

    Full-Time 5/40, workweek. The primary shift will be Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 2:30 PM with a 30 minute lunch break.


    Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
