Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Laser Assembler Technician for a contract opportunity in HIlton Head Island, SC.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Requires 0-3 years of experience
  • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops techniques and procedures for building lasers.
  • Assembles and tests optical, mechanical, and electrical subassemblies.
  • Completes optical bonding, cleaning, and inspection of laser units with high attention to detail.
  • Builds wiring harnesses, solders, and performs PCB assembly of electrical and electro-optical subassemblies.
  • Identifies problems and issues, resolves most issues, and makes recommendations for improvements in yield. Ensures that specified quality standards are met for all tasks completed.
  • Demonstrates ethical and professional behavior in accordance with company values. Performs job duties in a manner that maintains compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, policies, and procedures

    Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
